November 23, 2003 - This week's Fav Of The Week is "But Not Today" by The Shadow Casters. This garage rocker is from the Teenage Wasteland (TW) show. Also notable on this week's TW is "We Can Take It" by The Smoke, and "Mama Rand's" by The Footprints.
The Underground Garage's theme this week is Cleveland rockers. They played a cool 70s guitar punk song by the Dead Boys (I saw them live many times, almost as good as the Ramones) called "What Love Is". They also played the great 60s hit "Hang On Sloopy".

November 9, 2003 - This week's Fav Of The Week is "Bad Girl" by The Zakary Thaks from the TW show. It's a fast paced guitar garage punker from a great 60s band. These Texas boys were still in High School when they made this song! We already have "Won't Come Back", another great Thaks track on our MP3 page. The album that both of these songs are from, "Face to Face", has a few other gems on it and is highly recommended, buy it please!
Another great song from the TW is "I'm Rowed Out" by The Eyes. This power chord guitar garage rocker is from a London UK 60s band. I requested this one from Bill Kelly and he played it, THANKS!!!
The UG theme this week was the song "Louie Louie". Little Steven played many cool versions of the garage/frat rock standard, including a great NEW one by Robert Plant! It's on his new 2 disc CD titled "Sixty Six to Timbuktu", check it out please!

November 2, 2003 - This week there is NO Fav Of The Week MP3. It's not because there weren't many great songs played. On the TW, the new "You Might Get Me Back" by McFadden's Parachute is great but I like to choose a song recorded in the 60s as the Fav. "Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow) by The Monkees is great but you can hear it on the oldies stations. On the UG, "Time Warp" is a great dance song but its from the mid 70s. "The Night Before" and "All Day and All of the Night" are fabulous British invasion hits but oldies station material. "I Had Too Much To Dream" is great but already on our MP3 page.
There WILL be a Fav MP3 next week! I've already seen the playlists and picked one out!
